Share the Devotion

This devotion can be appreciated by people of all ages!  Here are a few ways in which different age groups can enjoy each week's devotion:

Infant to Reading Age: Young children can simply enjoy looking at the pictures of God’s creation each week.  You can read the name/attribute and Bible verse to a child and talk with them about how these connect with the picture.

Young Reader: At this age, children can enjoy the picture and read the name/attribute each week.  Then, you both can read the Bible verse and share ideas of how the verse relates to the attribute and/or picture.  A good question to ask might be, “What does this say about who God is?”.  If you like, you can read and memorize the Bible verse together.

Youth/Teen Reader: With youth and teens, a deeper discussion can be used to develop an ongoing relationship with God and an awareness of His presence.  You can not only memorize the Bible verse, but together you can read the whole chapter to better understand the context of the verse.  Suggested questions you can ask are: "How have you experienced God's attribute this week?" or "How do you see God in this picture?"  Your discussions with them can encourage an even deeper dialog about God.

Adults: Praise God for the particular weekly attribute.  Reflect on it and ask God to reveal Himself to you through fresh eyes.  Read the Bible verse and the chapter in which it is found.  Memorize it throughout the week and become more aware of God's character as you spend more time with Him.  If you like, you can look up the name/attribute in a concordance to see where else in the Bible the specific trait is found in order to gain a more thorough understanding of who God is.
