Acknowledgements

We would like to thank the following people who made this pictorial devotion and website possible.  Thank you to:

God who gave us the gift of life on earth and eternal life through Jesus Christ.  We thank God for everything that we have.  We could not have completed this project without Him faithfully leading us through every step of the journey, opening up every door to make this a reality, and for healing our broken hearts.

Pam Willcox for her generosity and expertise in making this pictorial devotion and creating the website.  We so appreciate her desire for excellence in working on this project.

Robin and Shirley for helping us with joyfully proofreading the pictorial devotion and giving us constructive and invaluable feedback.

Gail Herrmann for gladly helping us with proofreading the pictorial devotion and website and giving us insightful and much-needed feedback.

Bethany at Walmart Photo Center for her willingness to help with getting the photos on CDs.  We are grateful that she took the extra time to rescue more than one order that was “lost” by the photo machine.

Red Rocks Church for their commitment to teach the Word of God every week.  The words encouraged us to keep our eyes focused on God, especially when going through trials, striving to be “circle makers,” and being patient by working on this devotion in God’s perfect timing and not ours.  These are just a few of their many teachings that have encouraged us.

Bible Study Fellowship and Community Bible Study for offering in-depth Bible study classes for adults and children all over the world.  Having the opportunity to study the Bible while in these classes allowed me to learn about God and grow deeper in my faith in Jesus.  My deep faith in Christ allowed me to trust God during this trial and to follow Him as He led me to create this devotion.

Anne Graham Lotz for her obedience in following God’s call to spread the Gospel and to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  While attending one of her events in November 1996, I chose to rededicate my life to following Jesus Christ.

My dad who was so diligent in sharing the truth about God with us, his family.  He taught our Sunday School classes, and shared with us stories/books of how God was impacting people’s lives including Brother Andrew (founder of Open Doors International) in his book, God’s Smuggler.  Thank you for sharing your love of Jesus with us, and for praying for us that one day we would know Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

All the Sunday School teachers, Vacation Bible School volunteers, and “my partner in crime”, Lori Frease, with whom I had the privilege to work with for 6 years.  They were the hands and feet of Christ for me.  And to the children and youth that I was so blessed to be able to teach about Jesus -- this devotion is for them, because God answered my prayer in a way I could not have imagined, to create a tool to help them learn about God each and every day of the week.
